Our establishment dates back to the year 2000 by Mrs. Rita Savjan. Sky Direct Limited started as an independently managed company to provide General Sales Agent (GSA) Service to airlines.

In the year 2000, Mrs. Rita Savjani established Sky-direct Limited, an independently managed and operated company to provide (General Sales Agent) GSA services to airlines.
GSA, is the sales representative of an airline in a specific region or country and is responsible for selling flight tickets and cargo space including all the airline products. For the airline to appoint a Travel agent to be the GSA, they choose based on the staff’s competence and financial status of the agent
In the year 2000, Sky direct was appointed as a General sales agent (GSA) for Ethiopian Airlines in Blantyre until 2013 when Ethiopian Airlines opened its own office. While we were handling Ethiopian Airlines, Jet airways also appointed Sky direct as their GSA in Malawi from 2001 until April, 2019 when it shut down.
In 2002, Air Tanzania appointed Sky direct as their GSA in Malawi till 2003 after they stopped operating in Malawi. In 2005 Emirates appointed Sky direct as their Passenger Sales Agent (PSA) to date. When the airline is not operating in that particular country, they appoint a PSA and delegate their operations to them.
